Palimarushree will lay the foundation stone for Shri Ekanatheshwari temple-Godess of Devadiga community

Barkur:, January 16: Udupi, Palimaru pontiff Shri Vidyadheesha teertha Shripada will lay the foundation stone for Shri Ekanatheshwari temple-Godess of Devadiga community at Aramane Hanumantha temple compound, Simhasana gudde of Kacchuru, Barkuru district, on 21 st January Thursday. This news was announced by Dharmapal U Devadiga, Mumbai- Trusty of Shri Ekanatheshwari temple and the honarary president of temple construction committee.

With the blessings of Rajarshi Dr. D. Virendra Hegde, the foundation stone Pooja will be performed by Vidwan Lakshmi Narayana Somayaji. In the religious assembly, Veerappa Moily-former central minister and Malathi V. Moily, Vinaya Kumar Sorake – Urban Development Minister of Karnataka State will be present as chief guests, Halady Srinivasa Sehtty-MLA, Pramod Madhwaraj-MLA, Kota Srinivasa Poojary-MLC, Shaila D’Souza – the President of Grama Panchayat, K. Raghupathi Bhat – former MLA, businessmen Dr. G. Shankar, B. Shantharam Shetty, K. Vishwanatha Bhandary, Srinivas Shettigar, Babu Shiva Poojary, Dr. B. Manjunatha Somayaji, Trustees Krishnappa Uppur, Yogish Acharya, B. Manjunatha Rao, Prasad Bhat, K. Gopala Rao Kinnigoli, D. S. Chennappa, Anantha Padmanabha, Satyanarayana Udupa, K. Madhusudhan and others will be participating in this programme”-informed the honarary treasurer, Janardhan Devadiga Barkur.

Trustees and B. Annayya Sherigar Pune –the President, the Vice Presidents Naryana M. Devadiga, Harish Sherigar, Dinesh B. Devadiga Dubai, Janardhana S. Devadiga Mumbai and N. Raghuram Devadiga Shimoga,16 honorary advisors and members of the temple construction committee, heads of the zonal committee and heads of various Devadiga associations are striving for the timely construction of the temple.

Narasimha B. Devadiga Udupi - the Honorary Chief Secretary and all office bearers of the temple requested the friends and relatives, well-wishers of the Devadiga community throughout the world to participate in this foundation stone laying programme.
