Mangaluru: The installation ceremony of the new office bearers of Rotaract Club of Mangalore City was held on 26th July 2016 at Kudla Pavilion, Hotel Kudla, Mangalore.

“Rotaract is a international voluntary service organization comprising of youth members engaged in rendering selfless service to the community. Hence the member should adhere to the Rotaract motto “ Service above self” and comply with the aims and objectives of the Rotaract movement said” Rotary past district Governor Rtn Dr Devdas Rai He was addressing the rotaractors after administering the oath reciting the ceremony to the newly installed office bearers of the club. He congratulated all the office bearers and wished that they will continue to render valuable service to the society.

President of Rotary Club of Mangalore central Rtn Anil Gonsalves installed the new office bearers. District Rotaract Representative. Rtr. Hitaisshi was the guest of honour, she appealed to the members to strengthen the club by active participation and to have a innovative approach towards rotaract movement. Zonal Rotract Representative Rtr Mohd Aanish released the club’s news bulletin “Visage” president Rtr Yathish Salian in his acceptance address outlined the proposed community service projects and solicited members support for its successful implementation.

As a part of their initial community service project a gas stove was donated to a govt anganwadi school at shakthinagar. Mr. Abdul Rauf a voluntary traffic controller was honoured, eminent artist Mr Dinesh Holla was also felicitated.

Earlier outgoing president Rtr Rajesh Devadiga welcomed. outgoing secretary presented the annual report. Secretary Rtr Shivaprasad Bhat proposed a vote of thanks. Prasanna Compered the program
