Pedestrian killed near Padre tollgate at Mukka

Mangaluru: A pedestrian was killed near Padre tollgate at Mukka on national highway 66, after a tempo hit him. The deceased is Lokesh Devadiga (36) from Krishnapura.

Lokesh and his friend, Girish, were walking by the side of the road towards Suratkal on Wednesday March 23, when both of them were hit by a tempo that was moving towards Suratkal from the direction of Mukka. Lokesh was instantly killed in the accident, whereas Girish suffered injuries and got admitted into hospital.

Lokesh used to work in construction industry. A case was registered in the traffic police station at Suratkal.
