Petrol bunk robbery case solved

Kasargod: Accused has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a petrol bunk at Poinachi few days back.

A youth riding a scooter had approached the petrol bunk at Poinachi at around 4 am on March 14 in the guise of seeking small change. He suddenly attacked petrol bunk employee, Sunil Kumar, snatched Rs 30,173 kept in the table, and had fled.

The arrested accused happens to be K B Muhammed Rajhik (20) from Chala in Vidyanagar.The incident had been recorded in the CCTVs installed in the bunk. During the verification conducted with the help of cyber cell, the police could trace the culprit.
