Police arrest prison inmate's father for supplying ganja

Mangaluru: Police personnel from Barke station arrested a man when he was supplying ganja to his son, who has been jailed relating to a criminal case.

The police said that the accused Divakar was found throwing a packet containing ganja and paracitamol tablets to his son over the wall of the district prison from the compound of District Institute of Education and Training in the adjoining compound. Divakar's son, Rakshit Gowda, is in judicial custody at present.

During investigation, the police found 60 grams of ganja, six paracitamol tablets and a cellphone in the possession of Divakar.
