Pramod Madhwaraj speaks about urban development in Udupi

Udupi, Mar 22: District in-charge minister and Minister of State for Fisheries, Sports and Youth Empowerment Pramod Madhwaraj said that the urban development should be made systematically, otherwise the future of the generation will be effected.

In his address after inaugurating the Udupi Urban Development Authority new building at Adi Udupi near here in 25 cents land at the cost of Rs. One Crore, Pramod Madhwaraj said that in the sense of future development of Urban areas with systematically, there should be need to bring strong laws and public should cooperate the new strong laws in order to develop the Urban areas.

"Since four years under the Udupi Urban Development Authority, 22 lakes were developed at the cost of Rs. 6 crores. Not only that at the cost of Rs. 2.5 crore, four parks have developed and hence the beauty of Udupi city increased. More than Rs. 10 crores, including Rs. 50 lakhs for the development of roads in the city, developmental works are undertaken," he said.

Gafoor, Udupi CMC President Meenakshi Madhav Bannanje, Vice President Sandhya Tilakraj, Udupi Urban Development Authority President Narasimha Murthy, ZP member Janardhan Tonse, UUDA members Violet D’Souza, Ramesh Kanchan, Praveen Shetty, Girish, UUDA former President K.T.
