Prostitution racket busted in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: The Kadri police busted a flesh trade racket being run at a house at Kaibattalu in Kadri here on Saturday.

Acting on the tip of information police team headed by Kadri Inspector Maruthi Nayak raided the house where prostitution racket was allegedly taking place. The locals had complained that there was some illegal activity going on in house.

They have arrested one person and rescued five women from there.

Mangaluru: In yet another prostitution racket busted at an apartment in Kodialguttu, a man and a woman were arrested by City Crime Branch(CCB) police..

The arrested are Riyaz (35)of Adyarpadav and a female pimp. Acting on the tip police have been successfull in raiding the apartment and arresting the duo in connection with the case .

They have rescued the girls and have also seized an auto-rickshaw, Rs 1,800, a mobile phone.

Investigations are under progress.
