Reopening Ceremony and Felicitations at St Philomena PU College Puttur

Puttur: The reopening ceremony of the academic year 2016-2017 was held at St Philomena PU College Puttur on May 31, 2016. The Campus Director Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, inaugurated by lighting the lamp and said, ‘Education plays a predominant role in the life of an individual.’ The Principal Rev. Fr Vijay Lobo in his introductory speech expressed his compliments to all the achievers in PU examinations and CET-2016. He also presented the rules and regulations of the college.

 

On this special occasion, all the 74 distinction holders of the batch 2015-2016 were honoured. Mr. Ryan Maclean D’Souza and Mr. Viraj Daniel D’Souza were specially felicitated for their splendid achievement in CET-2016.

Ms. Shwethal and team with their prayer song invoked God to shower his choicest blessings. Mrs. Sathyalatha Rai M, Department of English welcomed the gathering. Mr. Prashanth Bhat P, Department of Chemistry and Ms. Stella Jesna Lewis, Department of Commerce read out the list of distinction holders. Mr. Sandesh John Lobo, Department of English delivered the vote of thanks. Dr. Dimple Jenifer Fernandes, Department of Hindi compeered the ceremony.
