Udupi: Rev Fr. Mahesh D’Souza, Principal of Milagres English School, Kallianpur and Asst. Parish Priest of Mount Rosary Church felicitated with shawl, garland and fresh fruits by Milagres Friends, Kallianpur on Wednesday, 20th January, 2016.

He was felicitated by the Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo, Rector of Milagres Cathedral and Dean of Kallianpur Deanery in favor of Milagres Friends, Kallianpur. During the felicitation, Milagres Friends President, Erick Lewis, Patrick Lewis and Jochim D’ Souza were present on the dais.

Every year, Milagres Friends organize a felicitation programme for the deserving personalities for their life time achievements in various fields during the Annual Feast of Milagres Church on showing Cultural programme of Tulu play. Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo addressed the gathering on the occasion.

Earlier, Hector Lewis welcomed the gathering. Patrick Lewis delivered vote of thanks. Hector Lewis compered the programme in brief.

After the brief felicitation programme, on the occasion of the Annual feast of Milagres Cathedral, State Award winner ‘Telikeda Bolli’ Devdas Kapikad presented “Paniyere Avandina” tulu comedy drama played at Milagres English Medium School campus in the evening. The comedy play was edited, dialoged, lyrics edited, play back sung and directed by Devdas Kapikad.

The priests, nuns, parishioners, and well wishers enjoyed the comedy tulu drama on the occasion of annual day of the parish.
