Mangaluru: MSc Counselling, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, organised an interactive session on the topic, ‘Mental Health and Wellbeing’ on March 1 by Dr Harish Shetty, psychiatrist, Hiranandani Hospital, Mumbai.
He stressed on the importance of self acceptance, awareness and expression of positive emotions, dealing with depression and suicide prevention. He further stressed on ‘staying alive’ at all times.
It was attended by a large number of students, teachers, professionals, practitioners, housewives and general public.
