Rotary Club felicitates team KMC - finalists in RC competition

Mangaluru: At the Rotary Club meeting held on Thursday at Moti Mahal, Danish Ali Sayed and Bibswan Mallik were felicitated by president of rotary club of Mangaluru, Vasanth Shenoy, after emerging second runners up at the Ramnarayan Chellarams finals in Bengaluru.

Danish Ali Sayed and Bibaswan Mallik, team from KMC, here, were the winners of the second round of Ideals Rotoquiz Mangaluru round. They qualified for the state level 58th Ramnarayan Chellarams finals in Bengaluru where they competed with St Joseph's College, Christ College and PES College there and emerged second runners up.

The team was introduced by Rotaract chairman Vinod D’Souza. Secretary Naveen Narayan, chairman Youth Services Aditya Pai and other board members were present.

At the final round in Bengaluru, KMC and Christ College were tied for the second place. Christ College emerged the first runners up and KMC Mangaluru were declared the second runners up. PES College was the overall winner.
