Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Madanthyar celebrated its annual parish feast on 5th December 2018 with great enthusiasm. The solemn festive high mass commenced around 10.00 am by Rt. Rev. Dr Pius Thomas Dsouza - Bishop of Ajmer, the chief celebrant of the Holy Eucharistic celebration. Rev Fr. Vijay Machado – Director, Mangala Jyothi Mangalore preached the homily, based on the theme of unifying the family and relationships. 40 priests concelebrated mass with the Bishop. Soon after the mass, Bishop Pius Thomas Dsouza was honored for accepting our invitation and presiding over the Holy Eucharistic celebration. Bishop inaugurated the church website (www.madanthyarchurch.com).

The entire Church and the campus were illuminated with lightings and decorations. Newly built Sacred Heart Shrine and Cave became the centre of attraction.

There was fun and excitement outside the church, as the members of ICYM and YCS had put up some stall for fun games, sweets, refreshments along with stalls displaying religious articles and varieties of articles.

The annual feast of the church has given an opportunity for the parishioners to revive and renew their spiritual life and unite their family bonds.
