Mangaluru: Mangaluru Christian Council in association with various Christian organizations and forums organized 'Souharda Christmas' at Milagres hall on Saturday December 12. Rev Sandeep Theophil, secretary of Mangaluru Christian Council welcomed the gathering. The function was formally inaugurated by lighting the lamp by all the dignitaries on the dais.

Dr Aloysius Paul D'Souza, bishop of Mangaluru said, "Jesus Christ has united us all. The prince of peace and love was born in a humby stable at a time of unrest and violence and a world full of sin. We must inculcate within us peace, joy and love of Christ, find Christ in ourselves and others, be messengers of peace and love like our saviour Jesus and follow his footsteps."

Various entertainment programmes like singing, dances and mimicry entertained the gathering. Gladis D'Silva and Dr Laveena Noronha, director of Ave Maria Palliative Care were the other dignitaries on the dais.
