'Say no to drugs' - Students at Vikas College take oath in DCP Hanumantharaya's presence

Mangaluru: Vikas PU College observed International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on Tuesday.

DCP Hanumantharaya inaugurated the programme and suggested the students to have a small interactive session where the students are given opportunities to express their opinion about the issues related to drug consumption.

The programme was followed by oath-taking ceremony where the students vowed to say a big ‘No’ to drugs and lead their friends too in the same path.

Dr Ananth Prabhu G, advisor of Vikas PU Colleg'e, Parthasarathi Palemar, coordinator of Vikas Group of Education, J Koragappa, trustee, Prof T Rajaram Rao, principal, Vikas PU College, were also present.

Dr D Shripathi Rao, correspondent, Vikas PU College rendered the vote of thanks. The programme was compered by Shruthi S Bhandary, lecturer in Physics.
