Shirva Deanery ICYM organized Yuva Samagam at Pamboor

Shirva: ICYM Shirva Deanery organised Yuva Samagam on Sunday, 31st August 2014 at Holy Cross Church Campus, Pamboor, near here. The programme started with the inaugural ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Fr. Paul Rego, Director of ICYM Shirva Deanery presided the function followed by Rev. Fr. Edwin D’ Souza, Youth Director of Udupi Diocese, Vice President and Secretary of Parish council Mr. Prakash Noronha and Asuntha Dsouza, Animator of ICYM Pamboor unit Mr Lucas Dsouza, Rev. Fr. Chetan Lobo, President and Secretary of deanery Merrick Castelino and Jenisha Rodrigues inaugurated the programme.

Mr.Lucas Dsouza in his speech spoke about the importance of the young age and its impact. Rev. Fr. Paul Rego gave his presidential address. Rev.Fr Chetan during his session spoke on the "role of youth in a family."

Rev.Fr.Paul Rego along with Fr. Edwin D’Souza celebrated the Eucharistic mass. Fr. Edwin conducted some fun games during the afternoon session.

During inaugural session of the programme Rev.Fr.Leslie Dsouza, Rev. Fr. John Baptist, Bro. Arun, Prof. Vincent Alva of Milagres College were present. Nearly 235 youth from the deanery participated.
