Soft Skills and employability workshop for ST students at Crossland college

Brahmavar: As a part of youth-led sustainable development programme in higher educational institutions, Brahmavar based Crossland college in association with Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Sriperumbudur and RUDSETI is organizing a two days’ workshop on Soft skills and Employability for ST students of colleges coming under Mangalore University on 23rd and 24th February, 2016 in Annexe, the college auditorium. Prof.Mathew C Ninan, Managing Trustee, Priority Educational Foundation, Brahmavar will inaugurate and deliver the key note address. Themes including emotional intelligence, self-awareness and leadership, youth and entrepreneurship, ethics and value in life, communication skills, yoga for health, national youth policy 2014 and sustainable development goals, stress management

Prof.Mathew C Ninan, Managing Trustee, Priority Educational Foundation, Brahmavar will inaugurate and deliver the key-note address.

Themes including emotional intelligence, self-awareness and leadership, youth and entrepreneurship, ethics and value in life, communication skills, yoga for health, national youth policy 2014 and sustainable development goals, stress management and ,inter personal skills shall be covered. Dr.P V Bhandary, Director, Dr.AV Baliga Hospital, Udupi, Dr.Lena Ashok, Manipal University, Teddy Andrews, Manipal University, Dr.Ajith D’souza, Principal, Mahesh PU College, Mangalore, Rev.Fr.Pradeep Sequeira, Administrator, AIMIT, Mangalore Karunakar Jain, RUDSETI, Shammy Siri, Manipal University and Robert Clive, Crossland college are the resource persons of the workshop. Chithra, II BCom student of the host college will lead the session on yoga for good health.

There is a session on making inspirational young leaders attended by Manasi Sudhir, alumna and cine actress, Krishna C Amin, alumnus and businessman and Latha AJ, alumna and co-founder Bhuvana Jyothi residential school, Shirthady. There will be a street play and short film making competitions for the participants.
