Mangaluru: "I spoke to a trained doctor from Mumbai whose grandmother is suffering from dementia. She is on the lookout for a temporary place to keep her in, but the grandmother has lost her memory. The family is suffering in a big way," said Jerardin at a special awareness programme on Dementia held on February 11.
"There are many such cases, where family members need to know how to handle dementia affected people," he added.
Praising the efforts of Dr Keshava Pai, he said, "Dr Keshava Pai and team are doing a great and useful service by creating awareness and educating the caregivers. I on behalf of Mangalore Alzheimer's Association, MAA, salute this effort."
We request you, to please attend this caregiver's meet and to also bring the needy families.
