Sports-Day at Holy Rosary English Medium High School

Kundapura, November 20: Advocate JCI and owner of Venkateshwara sweets, Mr Shridhar P S inaugurated the sports-day of Holy Rosary English Medium High School at Gandhi stadium of Kundapur by hoisting the sports flag. “Participating in sports-events like this, students should make use of the opportunities and should become a good athletes in future” Mr Shridhar P S gave the message as a chief guest of the programme.

 

The sports achievers - Vighnesh, Nikhil, Jacob, Rohan, Disly handed over the sports-torch to the school convener, Parish priest Rev. Fr.Anil D’souza. Later he lighted the sports lamp and blessed the athletes.

Parish priest Rev.Fr. Paul Prakash, Headmistress Sister Joylin, the headmistress of St.Mary’s high school sister Chethana were present at the dais. The principal of the St.Mary’s Junior College-Rev.Fr. Pravin Amruth Martis, writer-journalist Bernard D’Costa distributed medals and honored the athletes.

B.Chandrashekar Shetty-Physical training teacher, Shanthi Rani and other teachers extended their co-operation. Teacher-Smitha D’souza welcomed all. Twensika conducted the programme. Sister Shanthi Lavina proposed the vote of thanks.
