St Agnes College holds five-day workshop on Android Application Development

Mangaluru: The department of Computer Applications, St Agnes College (Autonomous), organised a five-day workshop on Android Application Development. The workshop was conducted by Harish Neermarga, CEO, Accolade Tech Solutions, Mangaluru.

The workshop was inaugurated on November 12 by Harish Neermarga, Sr Dr M Jeswina AC, principal, St Agnes College (Autonomous), Malavika Shetty, dean administration and Anushree Raj, HOD, department of Computer Applications.

Harish Neermarga, the chief guest, delivered the key note address by briefing on the importance of Android Application Development and the essence of this workshop for students in the future.

Sr Dr M Jeswina AC shared her views about applying knowledge with technology and appreciated the enthusiastic students for participating in the workshop and wished them all the best.

The participants learnt about the basic concepts behind Android and were able to create their own Apps during the workshop. Hands on sessions were conducted were students practically learnt how to develop Android Applications.


The workshop concluded with a short valedictory programme presided over by Sr Dr M Jeswina AC, principal and certificates of the workshop were distributed to the participants.
