St Agnes PU College celebrates annual sports meet

Mangaluru: December 15 dawned bright and clear as the skies were lit with a flood of brilliant sunshine. The gods smiled down as St Agnes PU College prepared to celebrate their much awaited annual sports meet.

The pleasant weather was a perfect foil for a fun-filled day full of various sporting and athletic events, aerobics etc. The students entered into the spirit of the occasion by cheering the athletes wholeheartedly. The chief guest K V Belliappa, police inspector, south police station, Pandeshwar, in the city took the salute for the impressive march past and exhorted the girls to be courageous and bold.

The winners of the various events were applauded and honoured with medals and prizes. The programme came to an end with the vote of thanks and the singing of the national anthem. Jayashree the physical director, co-ordinated the whole event successfully.
