St Joachim ward of St Teresa Church, Paldane celebrates annual day

Mangaluru: St Joachim ward of St Teresa Church, Paldane, celebrated its annual day on Tuesday.

The gurkar of the ward, Alban Monteiro, welcomed the gathering. Fr Vincent Victor Menezes, parish priest and chief guest at the occasion, lauded the members of the ward.

Vice-president of the Parish Pastoral Council, Roshan Lasrado, secretary Veena Lobo, secretary of the ward Assunta and superior of Raphael Convent Sr Suvarna were present.

Former gurkar Oswald D'Silva, who had rendered his service as gurkar for the previous 10 years was honoured and felicitated by the members of the ward. Achievers in the ward were also felicitated. Ward representative Joel Fernandes rendered the vote of thanks.

The event concluded with dinner.
