St. Joseph Fest at Kundapur Convent

Kundapur, March 19: Today is the birth day of St Joseph. In memory of St Joseph, the Carmel Institution,Convent and school of Kundapur celebrated a festival at the chapel. A holy mass was offered under the guidance of Asst.parish priest Rev. Fr. Paul Prakash.

“St. Joseph hadprofound faith in God. He was a good companion, a good father, an honest laborer as well as a good family man and a respected person. Today, we need his principle”-said Rev. Fr. Paul Prakash.

Parish priest of Kundapur Church Rev.Fr.Anil D’souza greeted the sisters of Convent and devotees with festive greetings. Rev.Felix Moras – chief of the Infant Jesus church of Katkere, Rev.Pravin Amrith Martis-the principal of St.Mary’s Junior college participated in the holy mass.

The sisters of the convent, guests, and employees of St.Joseph institution, women from Blossom group and several devotees of Kundapur church participated in this celebration.

Fruits and snacks were distributed on behalf of the Convent. Sister Precilla delivered the introductory speech. The supervisor of the convent,Sister Vibha proposed the vote of thanks.
