St. Monica Sodality feast celebrated at Kundapur

Kundapur, Aug 30: St Monica Sodality (Sodality of Christian mothers) feast was celebrated at Our lady of Holy Rosary Church Kundapur.

Holy mass was offered under the leadership of Rev Fr Anil Souza. Rev Fr Praveen Amrit Martis assisted him.

The stage programme was held at the church hall. Victoria Dsouza the president welcomed the gathering. Prayers were offered after the welcome song.

The parish priest distributed the prizes for the winners in the sports. The memento was given to the parishioners who continuously attended the Sodality meeting.

Johnson Almeida the vice president of the church said, “If the mothers think well for their families those families will be blessed”. The senor sister of the convent Vibha said, “Mother is a loving person, we should not forget her love, mothers always want her children by her side”.

Rev Fr Anil Dsouza, the president of the programme gave a message saying, “ The members of Monica sodality work hard. They live a life of sacrifice; they are filled with mercy, forgiveness, selflessness. They work for the betterment of their families”

Felcian Dsouza the secretary of the church committee was present at the dais. Mary Lobo proposed the vote of thanks. Shanti Carvallo presented the programme.
