St Philomena P.U.College, Puttur clinched Gold Medal in State Level Karate Tournament.

Sanvika K.S. of II PCMB 'D' has won the Gold Medal in the 40 kg Kumite event for female category in State Level Karate Tournament was held on account of Shivamogga Dasara. The tournament was organized by the City Corporation, Shivamogga in association with Karnataka State Karate Association (R.) and Shivamogga City Karate Association (R.).

Sanvika K.S. is the proud daughter of Mr. Sadananda Gowda and Mrs. Vani. She is trained by Mr. Babusab.

The Correspondent ,Very Rev.Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, the Campus Director of St Philomena Institutions,Rev Fr Stany Pinto, the Principal, Rev. Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta and the Staff Members congratulated her on her success.
