St. Sebastian Church Bendur celebrates Teachers Day - 2019

St. Sebastian Church Bendur celebrated Teachers Day - 2019 on 2nd September 2019 at St. Sebastian Church Hall, Bendur.

Rev. Fr Vincent Monteiro - Parish Priest, Rev. Fr Rohan Dias and Rev. Fr Nelson Peris - Assistant Parish Priest, Mr. Stephen Pinto - Vice President, Mrs. Mavis Rodrigues - Secretary, Bendur Parish Pastoral Council and Mr. Vinod Dsouza - Convenor, Youth and Cultural Committee were the guests present on the occasion.

The programme began with the prayer song followed by welcome dance by YCS members. Mr. Nelson Monteiro welcomed the guests and the gathering. The chief guest of the programme Mrs. Mariette Janet Mascarenhas - Principal, Govt. P U College, Balmatta Mangaluru shared her experience as a teacher and asked all the teachers to be dedicative, understanding and to be a role model to their students and congratulated the parish committee for organizing the programme as a recognition and felicitation ceremony for the teachers. All the teachers were felicitated with the mementoes for their relentless service for society.

YCS members entertained the gathering with variety of songs and dance performances. Mrs. Blossom Rego proposed the vote of thanks. Mrs. Mavis Rodrigus compered the programme.
