Student dies suspiciously at school campus at Manjanady

Mangaluru: A 15-year-old student of the Manjanady Al Madina educational institution has died under suspicious circumstances in the school campus. The deceased boy is Mehamood Muzambil, son of K P Abdul Rasheed and B M Naseema couple of Belthangady Puttila Kalanjebailu.

The boy was studying in the school since the past one and a half years and was a ninth standard student. The boy had suddenly gone missing from the Al Madina Residential School on Thursday night and later upon a search was found in a critical state besides a three floored building. He died on way to the hospital.

Muzambil who was the eldest among the six children of Rasheed-Nasema couple, had completed his primary education at Moodbidri and was later admitted to Al Madina institution by his father who worked abroad, with a view to provide him religious education.

His mother had left abroad a month ago for visa renewal and had returned just on Friday. A case has been registered.
