Student killed in accident

Bantwal: A car and a motor bike collided with each other at Mani, resulting in death of bike rider was killed. The pillion rider, who suffered serious injuries, has been hospitalized.

Shariff (18), son of Eliyas from Badyaru, who was riding the motor bike, lost his life. He was a second year diploma student of a private industrial training institute at Beltangady. He is survived by parents and four sisters. His father works in a foreign country.

Muhammed Irshad (23), son of Usman from Puthila sustained critical injuries in this accident. Both of them were moving from Mangaluru to Uppinangady when a Maruti Alto car coming from opposite direction and moving towards Mangaluru hit them. Vittal police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
