Suchitra theatre re-opens on grand note

Mangaluru: K.S Rao road’s 80-year old cinema hall ‘Suchitra’ which was closed in June 2017 for renovation work has finally reopened on Friday, April 27. The theatre is completely revamped with the latest technology and is fully air conditioned. It now offers all the luxuries that only multiplexes in the city could previously offer.

‘Suchitra’ is run by Bangalore’s Lakshmi Narayan Enterprises, established by D.N Gopalakrishna.

The cinema hall is now equipped with 4K Digital Cinema with 64 channel Dolby atmos and 80 speakers in total. It is now possible to book your tickets to Suchitra through the online ticket booking portal, BookMyShow.

Hollywood’s most awaited movie ‘Avengers: Infinity war’ was screened after the inauguration thereby officially resuming business in the cinema hall.
