Summer camp for Kundapur children

Kundapur, Apr. 13: Three days summer camp was started for the children studying from fourth to tenth standard at Holy Rosary Church, Kundapur.

The parish priest Rev Fr Anil Dsouza was the president for this function and he inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp along with the children and guests.

 

He wished all the best to the children saying, “These camps help children to mould their future. The moral education from this camp helps you lead a successful life. Learning about Christ, prayers, novenas are more important to live a blessed life.”

Rev Fr Paul Prakash welcomed the children and blessed them. Sister Shanti Laveena, Sister Judith, Juliet Pais-the president of the women’s association who prepare food for the children in the camp, main chef Precilla Rebello and writer journalist Bernard J Costa were present at the dais.

Shanti Rani Baretto-the convener of moral education proposed vote of thanks. Rev Fr Albert Crasta taught first teachings about prayers.
