’Swacch Mangaluru Abhiyan’ completes 390 cleanliness drive

Mangaluru: The 33rd week of ’Swacch Mangaluru Abhiyan’ saw the finish of 390 cleanliness drives of the 400 Abhiyans organized by Ramakrishna Mission on May 21 at 9 different venues- 382 Jail Road, 383 Bejai, 384 Kottara Chowki, 385 Kadri Park Road, 386 Mangala Nagar, 387 Bolara, 388 Pandeshwara, 389 Gandhi Nagar and 390 Merlapadavu.

The students of Srinivasa Engineering College have been actively organizing Swacch Mangalore drive for the past ten months. The concluding programme of this group was organized at Ramakrishna Mission. Swami Ekagamyanandaji addressed the volunteers and distributed the certificates to the students. Students’ representatives Sri Abhishek V S, Nallur Sachin Shetty, Jadiyappa, Chaithra and Anusha shared their experience. Sri Umanath Kotekar thanked the students.

MRPL and Nitte, are patronizing this 3rd phase of Swacch Mangaluru Abhiyan. This is projected from the report received from Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru.
