Talents Day organized at St. Philomena College, Puttur

Puttur: College life without celebration becomes charmless and uninteresting. Therefore to add some entertainment and to develop the cultural talents of the students Talent’s Day – 2014 was organised by the Student Council of St.Philomena College Puttur on 21st August, 2014 at Silver Jubilee Memorial Hall.

Prof. Leo Norohna, Principal of the College said, “College is a place which will contribute in the holistic growth of an individual. Today the college is providing a platform for the students to exhibit their talents and bring out the best in them.” With this he declared the stage open for the students.

Talent’s Day- 2014 was a cultural extravaganza with array of performing arts with different forms of dances like classical, semi classical, folk dance, bollywood style etc reflecting diverse cultural traditions. There were songs in different languages ranging from Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Malyalam, Telugu in their velvet high sound voice. The comic plays made the programme lively and thrilling. The five Masters of the Ceremony were at their best.

This day was celebrated with great pomp. Song and Dances filled the air. This will be a day to remember for all of them. There were 50 teams which participated in the programme.
