Udupi: On the occasion of 5th Paryaya, in two years we have special programme or “Vrksha Raksha - Vishwa Raksha” to be organized, said Sri Vishweshatheertha Swamiji of Paryaya Pejawar.

Paryaya Swamiji was speaking to media persons at Udupi said that in the name of Sri Krishna around one crores of saplings will be distributed in Udupi district level with the intention to keep fair environment of nature. For this greenery project we need cooperation from the public at large. During the forthcoming month of June the said project will be come into effect from June and members of public should awareness on this project for the better natural environment, he said.

For this purpose, Swamiji said that on Sunday, 13th March 2016 from 9am to 3 pm noon brahat awareness on the project and convention of Environment to be held at Rajanagana of Sri Krishna Mutt, Udupi. During the awareness programme district various associations, heads of temples, youth associations, college students and different service associations, sarvajanik Ganeshotsava committees, grama panchayat members are invited to participate.

During the awareness programme, various environmental experts and others scholars were invited to give awareness on the natural environment.

During the convention, B. Ramanath Rai, Minster of Forests and Environments, Shamnoor Shivashankarappa, Minister of Agricultural Product Market, Pramod Madwaraj, local MLA, K. Raghupathy Bhat, former MLA will participate.

Crores of saplings will be distributed with awareness training and various types of saplings will be provided to all those who need and can take care of saplings.
