Kundapur: May 2: Due to the construction project of priest’s house and other reasons the statue of Our Lady of Lourdes has been shifted temporarily and instated in a new venue.

Rev Fr Anil Souza the priest of the Parish took the leadership of this function and said, ‘since many years we are praying in front of this Grotto of Lourdes and now we are shifting it for some valuable reasons. Our Lady of Lourdes has devotees all over the world. Devotees visit in a large number at the town of Lourdes and receive blessings. We too should pray fervently and receive blessings’.

After instating the statue in a new venue rosary prayer was said. Many devotees were present for this programme. Assistant priest Rev Fr Paul Prakash Dsouza, Rev Fr Praveen Amrith Martis-the principal of Jr College, Vice president Johnson Almeida, and Secretary Felciana Dsouza ere also present.
