The second day of Novena: “A call to preach Christ to the world” emphasized

Published On : 07 Jan 2023   |  Reported By : media release

The focus of the second day of the novena was to pray for all Christians to be authentic ambassadors for Christ and witnesses to his teachings. During the homily, the preachers of the day remembered the difficulties Christians have experienced in spreading the gospel both historically and currently and urged the faithful to follow in the footsteps of their martyred ancestors to preach the gospel more effectively.

Instead of being fearful and helpless individuals, this world needs a thriving community that bears testimony to Christ in all circumstances.
Throughout the day, special prayers were offered at mass for those engaged in preaching Christ through life witness, teaching, and reaching out to the poor and marginalized
