Three days state level sports meet to start from Nov. 29 at Udupi

Udupi: Udupi District Zilla Panchayat Educational Department with the collaboration of Government PU Girls College will organize a three days State level floodlit Sports meet - 2014/15 which will be held at Gandhi Maidan from 29th November to 1st December, 2014.

For the three days sports meet, more than 3500 participants from 34 institutions are expected. Nearly about 35 lacs have been spent to host the event. Moreover, 200 physical trainers will be judges for the various sports events, informed by Ramesh Kanchan Financial Committee President.

Meanwhile, to create awareness about sports in public, Kreeda Rath will be started on 27th November from Venkataramana Temple, Udupi.
