ThreeX Music-Comedy show enthrals music lovers and ‘No’vyo Voviyo CD release

Mangaluru: Renowned pianist Marialena Fernandes, Professor of Chamber Music, University of Music & Performing Arts, Vienna, Austria and ThreeX Music-Comedy trio – Krzysztof Kokoszewski (violin), Jacek Obstarczyk (piano) and Jacek Stolarczyk (violin) – from Poland, presented a music-comedy show, at Kalaangann, on Feb. 23, 2016. The trio and Marialena performed some wonderful numbers which was witnessed by the packed audience, at the show organised by Mandd Sobhann.

On the occasion, ‘No’vyo Voviyo’ (voviyos retuned and reinvented) – the maiden CD of Sumell, the Singing Club of Mandd Sobhann, was released at the hands of entrepreneur and social worker, Elias Sanctis. Eric Ozario, the Director of Sumell briefed about the CD and its purpose. All those who contributed towards the CD were honoured on the occasion. Sumell Convenor – Sunil Monteiro, Secretary – Irine Rebello, Treasurer – Kavitha George and Mandd Sobhann President – Louis Pinto, were present on stage. Sumell also performed 2 Konkani numbers.

The show concluded with the dekhnni ‘Hanv Sayba Po’lto’ddi Vetam’ played by Marialena and the ThreeX trio and sung by Sumell. Ms.
