Tulunadochhaya 2017 office inaugurated by Ramanath Rai

Mangaluru: State Minister for Forest and DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai inaugurated the "Tulunadochhaya 2017" office at Suresh Vihar at Marnamikatta on Thursday. The event was jointly organised by Vishwa Tuluvere Ayano Koota and Dr Shivaram Karanth Pilikula Nisargdhama with the co-operation of various organisations.

"Any language can prosper and progress when it is extensively used for communication purposes by a large number of people. Tuluvas have earned name and fame across the globe. All those who speak Tulu language are Tuluvas," he said.

David Frank Fernandes, President of Tulunadochaya 2017 presided over the function. Kavitha Sanil, Mayor, Shailaja, Corporator of Attavar ward, Dugganna Sawanth Urs, Hereditary Trustee of Sri Kshetra Bappanadu, A C Bhandary, President of Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy, Damodar Nisarga, President of Tulu Koota, Kudla and others were present.
