Mangaluru: The team of recently Tulu film Namma Kudla along with memebers of Tulunadu Rakshana Vedike held a press meet to express their displeasure regarding the exhibitors in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi.

" Namma Kudla film is a good film made by newcomers. The film has also been appreciated and has done good collections. However the film has been removed to put other language films. If Tulu films are not supported here, where lese can we expect support?," said Yogesh Shetty Jeppu, president of Tulunadu Rakshana Vedike.

The Vedike said it is also imperative on part of Tulu film producers to be united to fight this development. Opining there is lack of unity among Tuluvas compared to other languages, Yogesh said this is evident from the fact that exhibitors are blatantly screening other language films in the very land that Tulu language is spoken without any real feelings.

The Vedike activists have warned to hold protest demonstrations in front of theaters/multiplexes that continue to do so in future.
