Udupi Tulunadu Rakshana Vedike along with Jaya Karnataka, National Students and Parents Association and Bargava Balaga will organize protest against the unconfirmed transfer report of Annamali K. Superintendent of Police, Udupi district at Clock Tower, near Udupi Service Bus station on Saturday, 19th December, 2015.

During the press conference at Udupi, Ikalabava Chitharanjan Shetty, District President of Tulunadu Rakshana Vedike said that we got information through the media regarding the transfer of Annamalai who took his office in January this year. Even though before completing one year in service in Udupi as SP, the news of transfer has been unfortunate one.

During the term of his office has been characterized by an almost negligible existence of illegal activities such as drug trafficking and other forms of illegal trade along with a quick crackdown on those practicing them. He is most honest, hard working and amicable officer without bending anyone. The general public were well satisfied with his performance as SP

If the transfer order is going to be true then along with other associations, Tulunadu Rakshana Vedike will organize district bandh on near future.

During the press meet, Ansar Ahmed, District Hon. Secretary of Tulunadu Rakshana Vedike, Vijaykumar Shetty, President of National Students and Parents Vedike, Janani Divakar Shetty, District President of Jaya Karnataka, Vasanth Giliyaru leader of Bhargava Balaga and others were present on the press meet held on Monday, 14th December.
