Two arrested for trying to sell ganja

Mangaluru: Ullal police arrested two persons for illegally storing Ganja and trying to sell it. Ganja weighing 7.200 kg, worth Rs 84,000 was seized from them.

The arrested are Mohammed Iqbal alias Ahmed Bava (27), a resident of Ullal Bailu Chennayyaragudde and Mohammed Azeez (34), a resident of Naringana Thoudugoli cross.

The raids were conducted by Ullal police sub-inspector H Shivaprakash, crime branch officer Rajendra B and staff Mohan, Rajaram, Ranjith, Mahesh, Prashanth and Ravichandra.
