Two-day workshop on Social Work Research Statistics using SPSS software at St Philomena College

Puttur: PG Department of Social Work of St Philomena College Puttur organized two-day workshop on ‘Social Work Research Statistics using SPSS software’ for MSW students on May 10 and 11, 2016.

Prof. Gokul Mandayam, Professor in School of Social Work, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA was the resource person. He shared his expertise with participants by way of class lecture and practical sessions on the concepts such as statistics in social work research, methods to make use of collected data by means of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software, result analysis and interpretation of result.

The Coordinator of PG Department of Social Work Prof. Prasanna Kumar welcomed the gathering. Assistant Professor of the Department Fr. Prince C. P. coordinated the workshop. Ms. Soumya Bhat proposed the vote of thanks.
