Two fake beggars arrested in Konaje

Mangaluru: Residents of Konaje caught hold of two fake beggars and handed over them to the Konaje Police on Wednesday June 15.

Two arrested beggars have been identified as Abhishek and Manjith both from Uttar Pradesh and pretending to be dumb and the other one as disabled and were collecting money from the houses. It is said that they were wearing Muslim cap as it was month of Ramzan.

When they reached one house, the residents of the house grew suspicion over their act and questioned which they failed to answer. Locals gathered at the spot and truth revealed. Both were hailing from Uttar Pradesh and were residing in rented room in Mangaluru.
