Uppinangady: Police have registered cases against two persons on the charges of posting offensive photos of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Tipu Sultan on social sites. The action was followed by a complaint by the Youth Congress wing.

The accused have been identified as Sadanand and Yogish Prabhu. If Yogish had posted the obscene photos, Sadanand has been accused of sharing it.

The Congress has alleged that this has been done to incite communal sentiments of the people. They had also warned of severe protest if action was not initiated against the accused.
