Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada in-charge minister U T Khader warned of taking action against illegal activities. "There is no question of supporting illegal activities, irrespective of who is behind it. If it is illegal, law will take its own course," said Dakshina Kannada in-charge minister U T Khader.
He was responding to allegation made by BJP spokesperson, Harikrishna Bantwal, about zilla panchayat member Padma Shekhar Jain operating illegal stone quarry and crusher inside the Kodyamale protected forest.
About the delay in executing works on national highway 66, Khader said that the district administration has taken steps to file case against National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
