Udupi: The felicitation programme for the newly elected Zilla Panchayat and Taluk Panchayat Women members was held at the Bharathiya Janata Party Office, Kunjibettu here on Tuesday, 22nd March, 2016.

Speaking to the Women, Shobha Karandlaje Member of Parliament of Udupi And Chickmaglur Constituency said that the quality of leadership by the women established since their birth. They can manage the house and other administrative organizations. Women can do any managerial work in house. But being an elected member of the people should in different ways. Women should work for the people at least after electing in various capacities.

She said that workers of BJP brought victory to the party. May be due to reservation some of the BJP candidates brought us victory. There would be a large number of workers in the party for several years. But all of them not got the chance to contest in the election. There would be the solid responsibility of the winning candidates to do the best service for the people.

We should not depend on our husbands in politics. We have to all knowledge and information about the cause of people. Women have more chance in politics than men. We can say that women not indulged in corruption than man.

Shobha Karandlaje felicitated all the newly elected members of Zilla Panchayat and Taluk Panchayat members.

Tingale Vikramarjun Hegde Udupi district BJP President, Udayakumar Shetty, former President, Shymala Kundar, Sheela Shetty, Reshma U. Shetty, Sandhya Ramesh and others were present.
