Udupi District Mahila Congress celebrated Christmas

Udupi: District Mahila Congress celebrated Christmas at Congress Bhavan Brahmagiri here on Saturday, 20th December.  District Mahila Congress President Smt. Veronica Cornelio presided the occasion.

The chief guest of the occasion after cutting the Christmas cake, K. Jayaprakash Hegde former Minster and Member of Parliament said that celebration of every religious festival creates communal harmony and that we should celebrate all festivals with the intention of loving each other and live in harmony.

Smt Veronica Cornelio was felicitated after she took over charge as President of KSDL. Udupi-Muncipal council President Yuvaraj, and Congress leaders like Sarasu Bangera, Amruth Shenoy, Sunil Bangera, Ida Gibba D’souza, Mary Srista and others were among present during the occasion.

Christmas cake and kuswar sweets were distributed to all the participants during the occasion. Jyothy Hebbar welcomed the gathering and Preema Lewis Tenkabettu compered the program.
