Published On : 02 May 2017   |  Reported By : Canaranews Network

Bantwal: Underworld don Vicky Shetty has clarified that he was not involved in the murder of Karopady GP Vice President Abdul Jaleel Karopady. A person claiming himself to be Vicky Shetty called some media houses on Monday to issue this clarification in the wake of the police stating that Vicky Shetty was behind the murder.

Referring to the police version that Vicky Shetty had nursed a vengeance against Jaleel as his brother’s son Dinesh Shetty could not become the GP Chief, Shetty said none would think of such a drastic step that too two years after the incident.

Meanwhile, locals pointed out that Dinesh Shetty was never an aspirant for the GP Vice President’s post and that only Jaleel had filed nominations as per the instructions of DK District in-charge Minister Ramanatha Rai.
