V V Rao is new Mangaluru International Airport director

Mangaluru: Mangaluru International Airport got a new airport director. V V Rao replaced J T Radhakrishna who has been transferred in the same capacity to Calicut International Airport.

V V Rao took charge as the airport director from Radhakrishna. Rao was the airport director at Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport, Amritsar prior to his current posting.

Radhakrishna joined the MIA in October 2012 and worked since then as airport director. He has worked as head of engineering projects from 2004-2010 at MIA and executed the runway and terminal building projects during that time. He planned and executed many infrastructure projects during his tenure and handled affairs of airport.
