Vanamahotsava celebrated at Sacred Heart College

Beltangady: The alumni association of Sacred Heart College, Madanthyar in association with National Service Scheme and National Cadet Corps of the college organized a programme on Vanamahotsava at the college campus.

Fr Bazil Vas, the correspondent of Sacred Heart Institutions, inspired the students to plant saplings within the campus in large number to visualize the great dream of a green campus. He also encouraged them to protect it to get better environment such as pure air, rains in time and to increase the water level. He motivated everyone by distributing saplings and making them to plant it within the campus.

The principal of the college Prof Alex Ivan Sequiera, alumni association coordinator Prof Paul Menezes, president Maxim Albuquerque, NSS programme officers Sam Joel Dais, Jovita Gonsalves, Rajesh Shetty, NCC coordinator Elias Pinto, and all its members were present.
