Vinaya D’Costa Elected as the President of Kundapura Catholic Women’s Association

Kundapur, May 5: Vinaya D’costa unanimously elected as the president of the Catholic women’s Association of Kundapur Unit.

 

 

During the Annual General Meeting held on May 2, the election was done under the guidance of the spiritual director Rev. Fr. Anil D’souza. Shanti Baretto (vice-president), Nirmala D’souza (secretary), Veena Almeida (assistant secretary), Sangeetha Pais (treasurer), Ida D’silva (representative of Mothia Magazine), Shanti Carvallo and Victory D’souza were elected as the zonal representatives.

Sister Premalatha and Felciana D’souza, the secretary of the advisory committee wished good luck. “The previous president and the committee has served very well, the new committee should also give a better service” – Parish priest Rev.Anil D’souza wished good luck.

The former president Juliet Pais welcomed all. Shanti Baretto-the secretary, read the report. Niirmala D’souza-the treasurer presented the accounting. The new president sought everyone’s co-operation for the betterment of the organization. Victoria D’souza conducted the meeting.
